Welcome to my website of
painted treasures. My name is Nancy Dumont. I am married to Bob and we have
3 terrific boys. They continue to challenge and encourage me to be even more
creative, but more importantly they allow me the time to be able to “do my
thing”.
I have lived most of my life in Massachusetts so I grew up enjoying the
beauty of each new season and learning at an early age how much I loved to
work with wood. So as soon as I was able to work (tender age of 13) I
started honing my skills in a local woodshop.
It wasn’t until several years later that I discovered I had another passion
in painting. I began taking lessons and soon my instructor and I were being
hired to paint wall murals on several buildings. My favorite is an
elementary school that my children went to. The mural was based on a Florida
swamp scene and consisted of (28) different animals and several lakes, trees
and streams. I have spent the last eight years working on my style and now
would like to share them with you. At this time, I also began putting some
of my items into local gift shops.
I am exhibiting in several Arts & Crafts festivals in Massachusetts, Rhode
Island and Connecticut throughout this year. If you are in these areas and
